What would you do?

Here's the story. A friend of mine told me how he went to a retailer and purchased a new blu-ray movie. The next day he was looking at the receipt and noticed that the movie was not listed. So, he came to the logical conclusion that he had not purchased the movie. What should he do and why? Please leave your answers in the comment section. Thanks in advance for your input.

I would go back and offer to pay for the movie. Bret

Bret, Why would you take it back and offer to pay for it? Nobody knows that you have it.

He should, with great haste, go backl to the retailer and pay for the movie. Why? He will not hav to deal with possessing something he did not earn. He will strengthen the retailers faith in his community. He will (likely. hopefully)start a ripple effect of good deeds and if not he will know he did his best. the pleasure, happiness, and satisfaction he will bring to the retailer is worth far more than a few bucks. I have done this often and always will. Where else can you ccomplish so much for so little, and you've already budgeted for it -what a bargain!
